Sunday 11th September 2011 saw Toro CSC athletes in action in a number of venues, all of which were under the influence of Hurricane Katia to some degree which gave the athletes something to think about.
Mia Larkin and Victoria Haigh endured the wind at The Derby Triathlon, a popular relatively local race which is been running for close to 20 years and includes one of the longest runs from swim to transition in any sprint triathlon, and a number of hills!
Both competed well and enjoyed the race.
Mia Larkin - Swim (incl 400m run) 06:53 / Bike 40:20 / Run 27:34 - Total 01:17:05
Victoria Haigh - Swim (incl 400m run) 09:37 / Bike 38:05 / Run 26:35 - Total 01:17:43
Well done!
