Event Routes & Information

The Swim – 400m

400m in the David Lloyd Hull Pool is 16 lengths. You’ll be required to count your own lengths (so learn how to count to 16) and spotters will make random checks to make sure everyone is playing by the rules. Miss a length or two and you’ll have to go back and do them again or you won’t have completed the race.

You can swim front crawl, breast stroke or doggy paddle, you can even stop at each end for a breather if you like, there’s just no walking, back stroke or butterfly…

T1

The run to transition is approximately 100 metres through the Patio area adjacent to the tennis courts and the finish line. Transition is large and can handle over 500 bikes without any conflict, there’s ample room to store bags and boxes out of the way of bikes.

The Bike – 24km

The bike route is one of the cyclists who enjoy getting their head down and pushing. No hills to speak of, no twists, no turns, just pure out and back power and speed.

T2

T2 is the same are as T1

The Run – 5km

A single run lap will go out along the East bank of the River Hull and return on the West Bank. The surface is light trail and great for all runners. The route crosses the Ennerdale and Kingswood river bridges.

Supporters – All The Way

With the finish line on the Patio you can be assured of a big cheer as you come to the end of the race, spectators and competitors line the route to the finish line as they enjoy drinks and the spectacle of your heroic endeavours.
